Full Job Description

Our school is looking for 2 teaching assistants - with passion for supporting children - to work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo and build positive relationships with a child; with the aim of supporting them to access mainstream lessons. These roles are temporary whilst the children remain at the school

We are looking for somebody who has the ability to:

  • Motivate and engage children in their learning

  • Support children to believe in themselves and develop a growth mindset

  • raise standards of learners using a range of teaching strategies, in line with the school's policies and procedures.

  • work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCo in the planning and implementation of programmes of support for their needs

  • support the class teacher and SENDCo to ensure high standards and consistency.


  • The successful candidates will have experience of working with and effectively supporting pupils
