Full Job Description

The Design Foundry 3D Point of Sale Designer is responsible for designing and creating innovative 3D concepts from the initial brief stage through to production. Working in the 3D design studio, alongside a team of experienced 3D designers, you will liaise with internal stakeholders to design 3D solutions working to tight client driven deadlines. Duties can include hand sketches, 2D & 3D visuals, mocks ups, cutters & production layouts.

This is a highly varied role, providing excellent opportunities for personal development in regards to teamwork and time management of your own briefs. Working with an enviable blue chip client base made up of high profile retailers and brands. You will be encouraged to work autonomously within your role, prioritising you own workload and tasks effectively.

Minimum 3-5 Years 3D POS design experience, working in a busy studio environment.

Knowledge of the following is essential

- Artios CAD or similar CAD software

- Sketchup Pro or similar 3D modelling design software

- Cardboard/paper Engineering

- POS design experience

Working knowledge of the Adobe Suite would be advantageous:

Excellent personal skills including:

- Creative & critical eye for detail

- People & networking skills for dealing with various internal colleagues and departments

- Ability to work alone or in a group using your own initiative

The Design Foundry 3D Designer:

- To receive, interpret and offer innovative creative cardboard engineering solutions for Point of Sale projects briefed within the agreed deadlines/timescales

- Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, team members and clients

- To work in conjunction with the Operations Manager & Creative Director to estimate timescales and materials required for completion of the brief

- Ensure all work briefs/concepts fit within manufacturing capabilities

- Demonstrate creative flair to create a wide variety of strong POS design solutions to tight client driven deadlines with accuracy.
