Full Job Description

  • Assisting with tax return preparation

  • VAT compliance work

  • Assisting colleagues with client administration

  • Basic book-keeping for businesses


  • The training you will be getting

  • Day release at Middlesbrough College

  • On and off-the-job training

  • Level 2 Accounts and Finance qualification

  • + Apprentices will be required to take one of the professional qualifications listed below, as chosen by the employer to be most relevant to the job role:
    - AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting
    - ACCA Certificate in financial and management accounting (level 2)
    - IAB Level 2 certificate in bookkeeping
    - ICB Level 2 certificate in bookkeeping

    Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Presentation skills, Number skills, Analytical skills, Logical, Team working, Initiative, GCSE or equivalent Maths and English (Grade 4) Essential
