Full Job Description

This role is within our Finance Department, you will be supporting the Finance Supervisor and the Operations Team. You will be interacting and dealing with Clients along with working with the team, delivering a high level of accuracy to the daily, weekly and monthly tasks set for this role. This role is for 3 days a week., Within this role, you will be expected to deal with all aspects of a financial role within a small business. As this is a split job role, the 3 days will primarily focus on:

  • Assisting in raising sales invoices to weekly targets, ensuring they are accurately detailed, along with relevant reports and sending the invoice to the customer via their required method.

  • Carrying out credit control, chasing of debts and dispute follow up / resolution via telephone and email.

  • Daily reconciliations of bank, purchase ledgers and expenses; Reviewing non-conformance and chasing suppliers for credit notes and VAT invoices as necessary.

  • Assisting both team members and clients with queries, liaising with the Operations Team to resolve any queries and chase up outstanding information.

  • General administrative duties.

  • Assisting the Operations Team on an ad-hoc basis.

  • Liaising with job-share to ensure all aspects of the role are carried out.

  • Accounts experience essential.

  • Natural problem solver, Accounting: 2 years (required)

  • Part-Time, 3 days per week, 24 hours

  • Hours: Mon - Thurs 8:00 - 17:00 with 1 hour unpaid lunch

  • Salary: £14,300.00 - £15,800.00 per annum, dependant on experience
