Full Job Description

The Oaks Academy are looking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to support the school in a variety of administration functions.

We are looking for an Administration Assistant who will provide a professional and efficient clerical support for the school, they will also assist in the day to day reception service to the academy. You will be part of a team that is the first port of call for parents, students and external visitors.

The successful candidate will be a team player and will be required to work as part of the dedicated admin team. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, be organised and able to remain calm in a busy environment. Strong IT skills are essential. Training will be provided on our management information system.

The Oaks Academy is a vibrant, forward thinking 11-16 school with a roll of 640 students. The School is committed to high quality inclusive education for students of whom over forty per cent are multi-lingual.

Start Date: September 2024

Closing Date: Sunday 2nd June 2024, midnight

Hours: 25 hours per week

Weeks: 39 weeks (term time + 1 week)

Pay: Actual salary for hours/weeks worked £13,256 to £13,477
