Full Job Description

We are seeking an administrator who will be a key link for the careers provision of the College, providing administrative support to the Assistant Principal responsible for careers. The role will also support general administrative duties to the administration team. Sir Jonathan North Girls' College is an outstanding secondary school in Leicester which is constantly looking to improve. We are seeking a dedicated colleague who is committed to ensuring students have experience of a wide variety of careers and opportunities to support their future decisions. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly build positive relationships. Good customer service, Information Communication Technology and communication skills are also desirable. We are seeking an individual who is well-organised, efficient, flexible, calm, friendly, motivated and passionate about providing an excellent support service to our students, families, staff and visitors.

This is an important role within the College which requires dedication and an efficient, responsible approach. It requires working closely with staff, students, parents and external agencies.

You Will Have

Experience with working with young people.

The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Experience of communication on a professional basis.

A level of numeracy and literacy sufficient to carry out the duties of the post. Ideally English and Maths - Grade C/5 or equivalent/relevant experience.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week 40 weeks of the year (term time plus 2 weeks)

Salary: Grade 6 Point 9-10 Full Actual salary £20,442.00 to £20,785.00 (Full Time Equivalent £23,898.00 to £24,300.00)
