Full Job Description

As Agency Securities Finance Corporate Actions Associate within Agency Securities Finance Operations Team you will be focused on the management of client assets, ensuring clients receive the correct entitlements resulting from a corporate action. You will help maximise revenue bot both clients and JPM. In this role you will be deadline driven and require a high level of risk awareness. You will be also required to be flexible during peak operational times.,

  • Understands and prepares cross system "broker/client" reconciliations

  • Executes intricate client entitlement calculations

  • Processes payments and executes claims

  • Investigates cash (Nostro) & stock break

  • Works to meet strict intraday deadlines

  • Manages relationships with multiple stakeholders including third party custodians, brokers, client relationship managers and other internal teams

  • Accurately manages risk involved in all types of voluntary corporate actions

  • Investigates market & corporate, locates arbitrage opportunities for the trade desk

  • Reports and provides high level summaries to senior management

    Strong attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate at all levels and most importantly an excellent team player

  • Excellent analytical skills, logical mind-set and ability to anticipate potential issues and risk

  • Ability to work autonomously under pressure and to recognise when escalations should be made

  • Motivation to progress within the department and to drive own development

  • Ability to successfully drive and take ownership of change
