Full Job Description

Due to growth of the Company, Taybray Ltd are seeking an Air Hygiene Engineer. This role offers security, competitive pay, bonuses and overtime, career development and much more.

The main part of your role will be to assist the Lead Engineer with delivering ventilation, ductwork cleaning and other air hygiene services to our customers.

This role can be physically demanding and could suit a person who has previously worked in industrial cleaning, construction, mechanical or facilities management role.

No experience of the air hygiene sector is required. A full training plan will be provided for the successful candidate.

Location: Field based, will be expected to travel within the region. Our office is based in Colchester.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, days/nights and occasional weekend working required. Schedulers aim to plan jobs up to 2 weeks in advance where possible

This role would include, but not limited to:

  • Kitchen extract and ventilation system cleaning in accordance with TR19.

  • Supporting the Lead Engineer with the inspection of Fire dampers in accordance with BS9999.

  • Assist on Installation of access doors into ventilation system in accordance with DW144.

  • Ensure all van and unit equipment is cleaned to a good standard and ready for the next shift.

  • Ensure the van is stocked sufficiently with all items required.
