Full Job Description

To adopt Standard Operating Procedures and encourage it to be done by others.

To assemble NHS prescriptions which includes Managed Dosage Systems

To help with the safe supply of medicines and advice over the counter

To ensure that all near misses are logged and reported as necessary, and to undertake any activity to prevent recurrence.

To support the effective use of all stock control systems

To resolve customer complaints if possible.

To help deliver all local and nationally commissioned services offered by the pharmacy.

To greet and serve patients promptly, either dispensary, over the counter or over the phone

To provide advice as required to patients.

To promote and sell appropriate over the counter products and toiletries. To respond to all requests for information in a prompt manner.

To assist the branch manager in the smooth operation of the pharmacy.

Communication skills, IT skills, Customer care skills, Team working, Non judgemental, Good timekeeping, Confidentiality, Trustworthy, GCSE or equivalent English or Maths (Grade 3 or above) Essential
