Full Job Description

The City pub group are looking for an enthusiatic and driven Area sales and marketing coordinator.Working closely with our General Managers and pub teams, this role is responsible for the implementation of the sales and marketing strategy.

  • Salary up to £36,000 per annum

    This role is operational and will require flexibility to work on site. Location: East Anglia, the role will require frequent travel to all CPG sites in Cambridge and Norfolk.

  • Ensure local pub teams deliver seasonal communications strategies to grow and engage our loyal fanbases through inspiring, relevant press and social brand content, driving brand awareness, footfall and sales

  • Optimise reservation systems, websites, mailers, social media and 3rd party platforms

  • Ensure effective sales driving customer service and response rates for enquiries and reviews

  • Attend monthly planning, upskilling and inspiration sessions as well as specialist 1:1s with Group sales and marketing team members to develop personal and team objectives

  • Deliver weekly sales and marketing compliance health checks to ensure implementation of key sales drivers at pub level (to include pubs with rooms/ weekly brief compliance)

  • Oversee all pubs to deliver a 90-day calendar of events (to include at least one monthly community event per pub)

  • Drive 4 focus pubs per quarter in line with Director of Operations focuses, implementing measurable sales drivers documented through business plan activity sheets.

  • Focus sales and marketing plans and a structured timelines for Capex projects (where applicable)

  • Maintain industry awareness understanding the competitive market and taking appropriate action to ensure own pubs stay ahead in the marketplace

  • Routine competitor reviews (direct and indirect) to ensure our offer is competitive and standards are well maintained
