Full Job Description

Join our dynamic finance team at Pobl Group as an Assistant Management Accountant on a Full Time, 18 months Fixed Term basis. We are seeking a professional and organised individual to assist in the financial reporting of our Care & Support division within our complex organisation., As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will work closely with the business partner and management accountants to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly management accounts, analysing variances, supporting budget preparation, and providing guidance to operational teams and budget holders. You will also assist with reconciliations, compliance, and ad-hoc reporting.

To succeed in this role, you should have relevant experience, including the preparation of management accounts and manual reconciliations. Excellent numeracy and literacy skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel are essential.

You must be able to analyse large volumes of data and meet strict accounting deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

Knowledge of IT systems and an AAT/Part Qualified Professional Qualification are essential qualifications for this position.

We are looking for a self-starter with drive to challenge and improve processes, to ensure efficiency and best practice.

  • This is a Full time, 37 hours per week for an 18-month, Fixed Term position and our salary range is £27,618- £32,639

  • Flexible working policies - this role would be both home and office based which could either be at our Swansea or Newport head office. Your base location will be set to your nearest head office.
