Full Job Description

Be responsible for:

1. Assist the project managers with all Leisure Energy site and office - based activities.

2. Ensuring that all health and safety paperwork is compliant and available for all projects.

3. Promoting an exemplary Health and Safety culture.

4. Compliance with the companies Quality Management system and updated with current legislation.

5. Maintaining an excellent relationship with the company's customers.

Primary location: Home based with travel to nationwide sites (Preferably midlands based but not a must)

Duties

1. General

· Contribute to the development of policy and procedures for Leisure Energy, whilst ensuring all other company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and that legal requirements and good practice are observed. This is especially important with Health and Safety.

· Building good relationships with sub-contractors.

· Work with the Project Manager and Project Management team to devise and develop a quality management system covering all aspects of the organisations service delivery.

· Be a central contact for both the Energy, design and Project Management teams

· Assist in the Implementation of this quality management system and seek ISO 9001 accreditation.

2. Project work

· Support the Project Manager and Project Management team in providing all relevant health and safety information and site equipment. i.e. Compiling health and safety folders with the information provided and procuring relevant components.

· Work with the energy, design and project management team to build and update project programmes using Microsoft Project (training and development provided).

· As required, prepare supporting information to support bid applications for Leisure Energy clients; support the Energy Manager in securing budget costs and preparing a cost plan for the feasibility, including where appropriate obtaining formal quotations.

· Liaise with sub-contractors to ensure that they are suitably trained / qualified and update the approved contractors' schedule.

· Aid in the annual process of CHAS accreditation documentation.

· Take and distribute meeting minutes when it is agreed as the company's responsibility to do so.

· Liaise with the project team and sub-contractors to compile the operations and maintenance files for completed projects.

· Requesting site specific risk assessments and method statements for all works undertaken.

· Liaison with Site Managers / recruitment of agency site mangers

· Aiding in site set-up

· Constant interaction with design and technical team for updates and progression of works.

· Attend the Technology Centre for meetings and works updates (Kidderminster)

3. Progression / Role Development

· Candidate must be willing to learn and keen to progress. Training will be provided for all necessary business activity.

· Working closely with our experienced project managers on a day-to-day basis to share knowledge and increase development.

· Attend construction team workshops for information sharing, internal training, construction knowledge and problem solving, and general business development.

· Role shall develop into more site-based activity, increased health and safety responsibilities and site supervision.

· Experience / interest in energy saving technologies and site works (CDM).

· Experience / interest in Health and Safety (including legislation)

· Numerate

· Experience with Microsoft office suite, especially Word and Excel, MSP

· Full driver's license and willing to travel (UK Only)

· Methodical and well organised

· Able to self-motivate

· Good written and oral communication skills

· Willingness to learn and develop

· Work remotely

· Preferably CSCS, Passport to Safety, SSSTS,

    Salary: £28,000.00-£29,000.00 per year dependant on experience + mileage allowance
