Full Job Description

This role will be processing and managing complex sales orders, to include equipment orders of circa £1m. This role requires the incumbent to have strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and raise potential issues e.g. if they spotted a key item was missing in a complex equipment order, or they spotted that a contract did not fully capture arrangements agreed with the customer. The role requires liaising and coordinating with different teams, including colleagues in Europe, to ensure all elements of a complex order are in hand and on track. The team is very busy, therefore the successful candidate needs to be able to thrive in a busy, multi-tasking environment.

  • Previous experience working with SAP would be advantageous but not essential.

  • Experience dealing with contracts and project managing complex orders (coordinating all parts of the order, liaising with the sales team and service desk, processing the sale in SAP) is preferred, this role would not suit a candidate who has only undertaken basic order entry to-date.

  • Exceptional administration, planning and organisational skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

  • Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers

  • Resilient, with the ability to prioritise and stay calm and collected under pressure

  • High level of proficiency in the use of Microsoft office tools (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

  • Wanting to learn and develop, A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
