Full Job Description

We're seeking a fabulous, friendly, reliable Care Assistant (with car) to work around 18 hours a week, year-round, as follows, We give you first class (paid) training and constant support, to help you deliver the highest quality care and support to the clients you visit.,

If you've worked in home care before we are sure you'll appreciate the Right at Home approach, but don't worry if you don't have previous work experience in a care role, it's a caring attitude that counts.

Duties include

Motivating clients to get the most out of their day; personal care; assisting clients with washing and dressing; administering medication; shopping, housekeeping, meal preparation and taking clients out if required.

  • Hold a full and valid UK or EU/EEA driving license and access to own vehicle.

  • Right to work in the UK.

  • Genuine passion to want to help others.

  • Reliable team player with a positive attitude and a flair for care.

  • Live within 10 miles of Wokingham and Wargrave., If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Health Care Assistant or in the NHS we would love to hear from you. If you've had experience of Social Care before, we think you'll soon understand what makes Right at Home different. We encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example: retail sales assistant, customer service, hairdresser, beautician, receptionist, administrator, cleaner, or any role in hospitality.

    Monday - Friday 4:30 - 9:30 pm (3+ evenings), plus alternate Saturdays (9 - 5) or Sundays (9 - 3).


    • Our clients are based in the Woodley /Twyford / Wokingham areas.

    Additional calls are available if you would like to work more hours.

    Pay & benefits
  • From £13:15 per hour, week days (daytime).

  • From £15:15 per hour, evenings & weekends.

  • £19.73-£26.30 per hour bank holidays.

  • Paid holiday (28 days pro-rata). Works out at about 12% on top of salary.
