Full Job Description

You will be responsible for working within a team onsite. Tasks may involve, but are not limited to:

  • Installing first fix components (door frames, window boards, linings)

  • Installing second fix components (doors, skirting/architraves, kitchens, cladding)

  • Use of hand tools, portable power tools and equipment

    On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will achieve a Level 2 Diploma in Carpentry and joinery (Site Carpentry)

  • Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)

  • Your training will be 1 day a week at Ealing, Hammersmith and West London College, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4 or above) Desired

  • GCSE or equivalent maths (Grade 4 or above) Desired, This line of work is highly demanding and physically hard work. You will be required to work in all weathers and keep up with demanding build programmes. There is a possibility of travelling to different sites. Holding a CSCS card is desirable
