Full Job Description

Diss Golf Club is situated on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. We are a members' club, with around 700 members. Our 18-hole heathland golf course is well maintained and is an enjoyable test for all standards of golfer, proudly hosting a variety of championships and county finals. We are currently undergoing an exciting time with restructuring and a substantial Clubhouse renovation.

Reporting to the House Manager, we are seeking an enthusiastic, passionate and hard-working Chef / Cook, to help deliver and enhance our catering provision for members and guests.

We host a wide range of golf match dinners, social events, functions and private and corporate dinners, during a typical year.

The ideal candidate will be able to prepare and cook good wholesome meals including, lasagne, steak and ale pies, curries, carveries, buffets and various puddings along with the routine tasks of a commercial kitchen. We are looking for a keen, flexible and motivated individual to work within our existing Team.

The club will provide equipment and chef's whites.

Minimum of 30 hours per week up to 40 at peak times.
