Chef de Partie CDP

The Malthouse is a traditional countryside pub and restaurant with guest rooms, set in a semi-rural location in Rishworth near Sowerby Bridge, Halifax.

The right candidate must be passionate about cooking fresh seasonal dishes and keeps up to date with current industry trends to assist in pushing our restaurant forward.

CDP Job Role:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your specialty



• Running a section



• Managing and training any commis chefs working with you



• Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus



• Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety



• Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
