If you have a passion for marketing and the transformative nature of the higher education sector, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join the Commercial Team in the Schools of Arts and Design, Arts and Humanities and Architecture, Design and the Built Environment in the 2023 Modern University of the Year.

You will work closely with colleagues in NTU's Knowledge Exchange and Central Marketing team and across these three academic schools. We're looking for a self-starter, a natural collaborator and a great communicator. You should have a demonstrated track record in developing and delivering impactful marketing campaigns in print, web, digital and social media to the public and business audiences alike. We have a well-established programme of commercial activity, including services such as short courses, CPD programmes, consultancy and access to our facilities and equipment. You will play a key role in achieving our commercial plans in these areas.

As Commercial Marketing Officer, you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-impact marketing and sales campaigns that accelerate the commercial objectives of three of NTU's academic schools.

  • Promote our commercial courses and services, developing marketing and sales strategies.

  • Identify and implement customer insights and market intelligence, using this to inform your planning process and brand positioning.

  • Manage a marketing budget, regularly analysing and reporting on the impact of campaign activity.

Nottingham Trent University is a successful and ambitious university that is recognised for its innovation and inclusivity and being bold enough to do things differently.

  • As a commercial department, we facilitate collaborations and deliver services to the public as well as organisations of all sizes, across the private, public and third sectors.

Our ambition is to be recognised as a force for good. We are passionate about transforming lives.

  • Hybrid working - we encourage and offer a mixture of office working and working from home. You're empowered to define how you work best for the benefits of your stakeholders.

  • Flexibility - take ownership over how you get your work done. We're open to different working patterns and approaches.

  • 25 days annual leave, plus statutory bank holidays and 5 university closure days pro rata.

  • Salary Sacrifice Retirement Savings Plan with life assurance and income protection. Available to colleagues who choose to opt out of the contractual pension scheme. Minimum colleague contributions of 0% matched with minimum NTU contributions of 8%.

  • Range of health and wellbeing services, voluntary benefits, discounts, and savings for all colleagues.

  • Access to a wealth of formal and informal professional development opportunities to develop your skills and advance your career.

  • And a whole lot more
