Full Job Description

As a Communications Assistant you will work closely with all members of the Group Communications team to support our business objectives and goals.

You will be responsible for:

  • the administration of updates to our digital communication channels such as the company intranet, social media channels and external websites

  • overseeing our social media content planning

  • reporting on the performance of our internal and external communication channels so that we can determine actions for improvement

  • drafting content for both internal and external communications

  • supporting the team on communication campaigns

  • working closely with the design team on brand visual asset development for both internal and external channels

  • providing admin support (e.g. event delivery, slide deck creation, meeting notes, document storage/version control, digital updates, invoice processing)

    To succeed in this role, you'll need to have:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • An enthusiasm to develop your knowledge of business communication channels, particularly digital communications.

  • Confidence in working with MS Office Suite, SharePoint and software.

  • The ability to 'get things done at pace' without compromising on attention to detail.

  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

  • A good understanding and strong interest in social media.

  • Analytical skills.

  • A creative mindset.
