Conveyancer

· This pivotal role offers the unique opportunity to lead and develop a high-performing Paralegal team that already exists., 5. managing a practice's complaints-handling procedures;

6. acting as a formal point of contact for compliance in the practice to the appropriate regulator; and

7. supervising business continuity planning to ensure in the event of an adverse situation the continuity of legal service provision., · Lead and mentor a dedicated team of Paralegals and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

· Oversee a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, including sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgaging, and property finance.

· Maintain and develop relationships with clients, agents, and other stakeholders, ensuring the firm's reputation for excellence and personalised service is upheld.

· Drive process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction.

· Play a key role in the strategic growth of the department, contributing to business development and networking activities.

· The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience, leadership skills, and a forward-thinking approach to guide the team through complex transactions and maintain high standards of client care.

· The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of Asset Protection Trust / Lifetime Discretionary Trust experience.

HOLP - should be able to demonstrate through their previous employment responsibilities (CV or verification from a current or past employer) or educational attainment that they have the threshold level of experience or theoretical knowledge of managing compliance elements to support their application to become HoLP.

1. implementing, monitoring, or reviewing compliance processes and systems; such as GDPR, AML, practice wide polices, such as vulnerable clients, and understanding practice and matter level risk assessments;

2. supervising legal transactions/matters carried out by others to ensure that they are compliant with the appropriate regulators arrangements. The CLC the regulatory arrangements;

3. keeping a record of compliance breaches;

4. preventing and dealing with conflicts of interests and improper influence, · Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.

· A proven track record of handling complex residential property transactions with meticulous attention to detail.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships and delivering exceptional client service.

· A strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team development.

Link Legal Specialists Ltd is currently being approved through the Council for Licensed Conveyancers and we are seeking a dual role of Head of Legal Practice and an experienced Conveyancer to head the Company with an already established client base of £700,000 of client fee earning potential in the first year, with referral business from a well-established Specialist Law Firm.
