Please provide any supporting material in MS word format and keep to a maximum of one page., The main responsibilities for our Data Scientist Power Platform & Machine Learning KTP Associate will be to:
o Work as part of a collaborative team to tackle the challenges of designing and creating an innovative, immersive solution for Power Analytics Solution decontamination and maintenance in hospitality settings.
o Create innovation within a Power Platform solution
o Perform code reviews to ensure code quality.
o Actively participate in meetings with hospitality clients and SMEs to develop ideas and design instructional methodologies that support client goals and learning objectives.
o Technical input in team meetings and contributing to design ideas.
o Contribute to the modification and integration of proposed systems, Machine Learning techniques, Cloud services and Data Analytics to existing infrastructure.
o Work with the management and sales team to scope projects.
o Research into techniques, technologies and methodologies used in Cloud technology, Descriptive and predictive analytics, Lakehouse and data mining processes
o Testing and debugging new and existing analytics collusion.
o Deploy and Setup of the system as requested.
o The role holder is required to minimise environmental impact in the performance of their role and to actively contribute to the delivery of the University's Environmental Sustainability Policy.
o To undertake any other reasonable duties as required.

We have an exciting opportunity to work on a collaborative project between Avenue 9 Solutions and Staffordshire University. Avenue 9 specialise in hospitality IT consultancy, working with prestigious hotels and groups in the UK and Ireland. The aim of this Knowledge Transfer Partnership (https://www.ktp-uk.org/graduates/), known as "Avenue 9 PowerAnalytics" funded by InnovateUK, is to develop innovation within Microsoft PowerBI to be used in hospitality on a Software as a Service (SaaS) model.
Working closely with Avenue 9 and academics at Staffordshire University, the successful candidate will be skilled in leveraging Power BI and cutting-edge technologies like generative AI and machine learning to unlock hidden patterns and drive impactful business decisions.
