Full Job Description

Pending the launch of the new strategy and the appointment of the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) a number of senior posts were filled as interim. With the arrival of the new COO and the creation of her new team, this is an exciting opportunity to be part of the new COO vision and strategy.

The Director of Admissions, Recruitment and Marketing (ARM) will lead UEA's world-wide admissions and recruitment strategy and promote the University to students, alumni, the media and key partners across government, businesses, and the charitable and voluntary sectors.

You will be responsible for a diverse portfolio of five departments, each specialising in particular areas of UEA's strategic corporate priorities: Admissions and Applicant Engagement; Recruitment, Outreach and Events; Marketing; UEA Global; and Content and Communications.

Our student recruitment success and marketing activity is business critical for the University's success and you will need to demonstrate innovation in delivering an ambitious student recruitment and marketing strategy, resilience and excellent communication skills with stakeholders both internal and external.

You will have a track record of successful delivery and have a focus on service transformation and a commitment to informed debate, corporate decision-making and collective accountability as well as individual ownership.
