Your Role

Reporting to the Stock Integrity Manager for stock assurance matters. As the Discrepancy Report and Stocktaking Team Manager you'll champion contract compliance and materiel accounting. You will lead a stellar team compromising of 2 direct reports and circa 28 colleagues ensuring seamless operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provideefficient management of all stock assurance/integrity issues on behalf of theStock Integrity Manager in terms of the custodianship of circa 240k stockedlines with a approximate valuation of £7.6bn.

  • Managerialresponsibility for the Stock Control and Discrepancy Report Teams comprising 28posts located at mainly at Donnington with a small presence at Bicester. Theprimary role is delivery of Stock-taking and 100% Stock Location Check Programmes,Discrepancy Report & Write-Off management.

  • Driveperformance through the implementation, management, and review of KPI data on aweekly basis to drive required output and behaviours within the department.

  • Responsible for support and input tothe design, development and implementation of continuous improvement programmesand initiatives to deliver advances in stock integrity processes.

  • Identify and monitor alltraining requirements for the department, particularly mandated training, toensure full compliance with business requirements.

    Knowledge of Materiel Accounting

  • Knowledge of Stock Control/Integrity procedures.

  • Abilityto manage a large team and implement objectives, KPIs and continuousimprovement to meet overall company and customer goals.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with ananalytical eye when providing root cause analysis to implement a solution.

  • Akeen interest in process improvement with experience using six sigma and leanprocess improvement methodologies.

  • Proficientwith Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
