Domestic Assistant

Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize surfaces, such as floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures

- Helping with the laundry
- Empty and dispose of waste bins and recyclables
- Restock supplies in designated areas
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Adhere to infection control protocols in healthcare settings
- Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy of individuals

• Previous domestic experience is desirable but not essential

  Pay: We have an excellent pay rate of £11.50 an hour


Shift patterns: Working part time hours 9am to 3pm midweek and alternative wekeends.

Hours working per week: 18 to 24 hours

A warm welcome to Sand Bay Care Home

Situated in North Somerset, this purposefully designed and refurbished residence stands as a well-equipped property in a seaside setting where we care for adults with dementia and other care needs.

The service is registered for 29 clients in total, with the ample availability of en-suite rooms each of which have been finished to a luxurious standard and equipped with a 24-hour alarm call system. Residents are encouraged to sprinkle their own touch to their rooms to create a comfortable and homely personal space.

The property has indulgently furnished lounges and a dining room to enjoy freshly prepared meals, providing warm meeting areas for residents to meet with their guests.

Outside there is a spacious garden and patio area, with the beach just a stones throw away, as well as the convenience of 15 car-parking spaces for both staff and guests.

Our company is small, but with a vision to grow it would be nice to be able to include our first ever staff in that vision and take them on this journey with us, whereby we are able to invest in committed staff who are keen to develop their skills and have a drive to develop their roles in a step by step manner, cultivating a lifelong career within our organisation.
