Full Job Description

We are seeking a driven and analytical E-Commerce Trading Manager to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for developing and executing data-driven strategies to optimize our online presence across various platforms including our own B2C Shopify channel and other various marketplaces (including Amazon, eBay & B&Q) and drive significant sales growth. You will leverage your expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), PPC advertising, copywriting, and content creation to ensure a seamless and profitable customer journey.,

  • Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce trading strategies to achieve ambitious sales and profitability targets.

  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and market differentiation.

  • Manage product listings and pricing across various marketplaces (Amazon, Shopify, etc.) for optimal reach and conversion.

  • Utilize GA4 to analyse website traffic, customer behaviour, and campaign performance, gleaning actionable insights.

  • Develop and manage PPC campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads) to drive targeted traffic and conversions.

  • Craft compelling product descriptions, marketing copy, and other content to engage customers and boost sales.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Design & Product) to ensure seamless product launches and ongoing optimisation.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and stay informed about industry trends to make data-driven decisions.

  • Generate insightful reports and presentations to communicate performance and progress to stakeholders.

  • Identify and implement cost-saving measures to improve overall profitability.

    Proven track record of success in driving sales growth through strategic online marketing initiatives.

  • In-depth experience with managing product listings and pricing on various marketplaces (experience with Amazon and Shopify is a plus).

  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in utilising GA4 to analyse data and derive actionable insights.

  • Experience running and optimising PPC campaigns on platforms like Google Ads and Facebook Ads.

  • Excellent copywriting and content creation skills with a strong understanding of SEO best practices.

  • Must be digitally savvy, confident in using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and IT literate with an understanding of EDI and API processes.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

  • A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a passion for e-commerce.

  • Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO) is a plus.

  • Knowledge and basic understanding of HTML and CSS coding is a plus., GCSE or equivalent (required), Content creation: 1 year (preferred)

  • Amazon trading: 1 year (preferred)

  • Marketplace trading: 1 year (preferred)

  • E-commerce: 2 years (preferred)
