Full Job Description

You will be creating, maintaining and cleansing title and contract data in our publishing system, Biblio 3, as well as providing administrative support to the Operations and Editorial teams. Many of these tasks involve frequent communication and collaboration across multiple teams, including the Production, Contracts, Rights, Royalties and Inventory teams.

You will act as the main point of contact for system and process queries from the Editorial team, and the role will involve some training responsibility as an owner of editorial operations processes and the use of Biblio 3.

You will also work on company wide projects and initiatives with the rest of the editorial operations team, and will be involved in continual process improvement as the team reviews its process workflows and metadata guidance.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about detail, accuracy and systems, and who enjoys data input. Our ideal candidate will have experience of using Biblio 3 (or similar title data management systems) as well as experience in an operational role - in publishing or another industry.

The role requires attention to detail, good organisation, an ability to prioritise a busy workload and a sound knowledge of computer packages, particularly Excel.

An interest and knowledge of SEO and optimising metadata would be an advantage as well as experience in an administrative role. If you enjoy working across a range of tasks, each supported by clearly defined process workflows which you would enjoy helping to continue to optimise, we'd love to hear from you.
