EducationEngineering modern apprenticeship / time served (i.e.City & Guilds / BTEC / NVQ Level 3).Minimum HNC qualification in engineering5 years proven experience post HNCMulti skilled (Elec/Mech)Engineering career goalExperience of implementing change, process improvement and reducing costs.ExperienceWorking in ISO 5 & ISO 7 clean rooms, wearing personal respirator hood PPE to carry out daily tasksResponsible for PMs, calibrations, and servicing on key equipmentSupervision of contractors, FSE and service providersPlanning of personal work requirementsEmbracing a 'minimise downtime, increase availability' demeanour in relation to automation breakdownsUnderstanding and safe use in workshop tools (hand tools / automatic tools)Ability, passion, and strive to become learner to user: Life Science instruments covering Genetic analysers, qPCR, PCR, RNA/DNA extractors, DNA synthesisUnderstanding and use of CMMS (computerised maintenance management system)Routine maintenance of associated
laboratory, manufacturing, and workshop equipment. · . Including production automation, liquid filling machines, cartoners, shrink wrappers, conveying systems and sealers.Completes documentation to GDP standards.Maintenance activities within the clean room environment, including clean transfer of tools and any other work associated materials into the clean-room.Responsible for supporting and aligning with the Company's safety and hazardous waste management program, including safe hazardous waste handling and good housekeeping.Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesAdhere to EHS policies and procedures and ensure a safe and healthy workplace environmentExperience of working in an ISO13485 certified environment is requiredPLC experienceRobotics and automation experiencePneumatic knowledge and experiencePhysical Requirements / Work EnvironmentAble to manage workload independently within scope of activities agreed with SupervisorFlexible approach to work and willingness to learn.Ability to
