Facilities Manager at the United Church Winchester.


The United Church Winchester is an ecumenical Church formed in 1974 who meet in a Grade II listed building which was refurbished in 1989-1991. As well as the Sanctuary the building includes a hall, meeting rooms, offices and a coffee bar. It is hired by many groups for meetings, rehearsals, concerts, meals, health clinics and fitness activities. More information can be found on our website.


The Facilities Manager will be responsible for all aspects of hiring together with the day-to-day upkeep and regular maintenance regime of the building. The role also includes working with the Leadership Team to realise longer term improvements.


This is a developing role at the UCW and the appointment will initially be for one year during which the duties will be rationalised and developed. At the end of this period we will assess the way forward and anticipate making a permanent appointment. The hours will be flexible and total 20 per week.


Salary will be £15,400 per annum with statutory holiday and pension benefits
