Full Job Description

Do you enjoy a good boogie to the top 70's hits? Or making a splash in the pool whilst trying to keep fit?

Are you fun, enthusiastic and ready to get stuck in

What matters to the people we support matters to us. It's their life, their way.

We are looking for warm and friendly people to join our team on a fixed term contract for 9 months. We support 3 females who live in a shared house in Shipley. You will be working alongside them in their own home so it's important you can connect, share interests and be interested. This role will involve a real hands-on approach and you will be supporting people to maintain their health and wellbeing. They enjoy a variety of activities at home from cooking and cleaning to jigsaws and also getting out in the wider community and beyond as one of the females enjoys holidaying abroad.

So if you enjoy building meaningful relationships and think you could plan, communicate and deliver support with and alongside people, then this is the place for you.

What will we do?

We will train you in everything you need to be a great Support Worker. We will apply and pay for your enhanced DBS, and we have a mentorship scheme in place to provide support and guide you on your journey with us.

We offer Wagestream - a money management app that gives you access to a percentage of your pay as you earn it, access to coaching, vouchers, discounts, cashback and more.

You will be entitled to annual leave with the ability to buy additional leave.

Fully funded health cash plans giving you access to a 24 hour GP, money back on prescriptions, dental treatment, opticians and access to many more health benefits

We provide a package of benefits that make it that bit easier to be your best and we can also support you to achieve a Level 2 diploma in Health and Social Care and pursue a career that takes on more responsibility.

What will you do?

Supporting people is really important but it's not all shopping trips and litter picking. We also support people to take their medication, make healthy lifestyle choices or maintain their home in a way they are safe and well.
