Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly capable Financial Manager to lead our finance team of 14 professionals. This role requires hands-on experience with the Opera accounting system and a robust track record in financial management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our organization, ensuring financial stability, and driving team performance to achieve strategic goals., Financial Oversight: Monitor and manage the financial system, policies, and processes.

Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support a team of 14 members, ensuring high levels of performance.

Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the management team level to improve financial performance.

Financial Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all financial data including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.

Budget Management: Prepare the budget and conduct financial analysis and forecasting.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.

System Management: Oversee and ensure optimal use of the Opera accounting system for all financial operations.

Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide accurate financial information and support strategic decisions.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.

Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.

Proven experience in financial management and accounting.

Strong experience with the Opera accounting system is essential.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

A minimum of 8 years of financial management experience is required.

Experience in leading and managing sizable teams.

Additional Requirements:

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in financial software and Excel.,
