Join the Manufacturing and Quality Finance team as a Finance Manager - Production where you'll own and lead on strategic finance projects, and play a pivotal role in providing, reviewing and presenting financial data analysis to senior management to support decision making. Reporting into the Head of Controlling - Manufacturing and Quality your main responsibilities include;

  • Managing and supporting production and vehicle interior overheads

  • Managing and supporting manpower planning cost activities

  • Managing and supporting production launch cost activities

  • Owning KPI reporting and providing data to Board

  • Supporting factory cost budgeting, reporting and steering

  • Ownership of strategic finance projects to include the Finance Planning and Forecasting System (PAL 3) and Tableau utilization

  • Presenting in senior management meetings (Director level and above) to influence, challenge and steer the business to achieve our production goals


  • About the Team
    The Manufacturing and Quality Finance team is basically responsible for two things: On the one hand, we steer the finances for the series production, ensuring that all cost, investment and inventory targets are achieved. On the other hand, we are supporting the transformation of the factory into a site for battery electric vehicles (BEV), aligning with the Beyond 100 strategy.
    This is achieved through collaboration with key stakeholders in Manufacturing and Finance within Bentley and the wider VW group. As part of a dynamic, agile team, you will manage, develop and lead activities cross functionally.

  • Holding a recognised accounting qualification ACA, CIMA or MBA equivalent qualification is a must

  • Knowledge of financial accounting processes and principles, gained through hands on experience

  • Experience in a finance role within the manufacturing industry would be ideal, although not a necessity

  • Demonstrable experience presenting to key stakeholders at Director level and above and an ability to influence business decisions would be advantageous, but not essential

  • An ability to model complex data and produce comprehensive, but simple to understand business models and analysis to support decision making, including identification of risks and opportunities and proposals to compensate

  • A proven track-record of effective working cross-functionally day to day and as finance representative of business teams
