Forklift Driver Yard / Despatch

In order to facilitate this, we require a talented and experienced Warehouse Yard Forklift Driver to support the company through the changes necessary to achieve our objectives., The Warehouse Forklift Driver will be receiving product from stores and distributes raw materials, finished products within the business. Drives petrol, diesel or electric powered industrial forklifts equipped with lifting devices such as elevating platforms, or trailer hitch, to push, pull, lift, stack, tier or move products, equipment, or material by performing the following duties.,

• Once goods received, paperwork to be checked, print relevant labels to match the goods, complete relevant booking / out procedures on Factory master.


• Inform QC that goods have arrived


• Label and weigh the goods, then put in the correct stores at the right temperatures


• Load lorries with empty bins and ensure these are matched up correctly


• Ensure the accuracy of goods received by segregating according to each Grower


• Essential that the paperwork is clear, concise, and consistent through processes


• Self-Motivated, reliable with excellent time keeping


• Stock check daily/monthly and rotation of shelf life products.


• Input Returns of packaging materials daily of each customer or product from inbound deliveries


• Ensure that the Yard is always kept tidy with the Clean as you go policy


• Actively contribute and engage in continuous improvement initiatives relevant to JD tasks / duties


• Ensure inbound /outbound stock is recorded correctly on the warehouse management system / scanner, as well as sent to the correct stores location


• Stock checks and Restocking of certain product in various chilled CA cold stores daily due to space requirements needed


• Must be Pro-active, use initiative and have good communication skills


• Any ADHOC duties required by the Supervisor or Manager
