Full Job Description

The Team Coordinator role is a critical position in the General Counsel Team, providing comprehensive support across five teams - legal, audit, risk and assurance, ethics, business conduct and data - working closely with the Heads of each of the individual teams to ensure that a variety of tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

There is also an opportunity to develop in a professional environment and progress a qualification into one of the Team's specialist areas such as Company Secretarial or Compliance.,

  • Provide general administrative support as is required, including managing team schedules and communications.

  • Arrange and manage team meetings, preparing meeting materials.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of projects and initiatives.

  • Preparation of presentations (including charts/graphs) and formal reports (e.g audit reports) for executive and board committees.

  • Manage documentation (e.g., team risk register, business continuity plan), maintain SharePoint and Intranet sites and databases.

  • Managing contracts with legal firms

  • Managing Team systems (auditboard, practical law, Risk and Assurance Power BI App).

  • Managing Team purchasing requirements (Coupa)


  • Team Compliance management

  • Managing the annual companywide Conflict of Interest process

  • Provide support on updating the data incidents log to comply with Data Protection legislation

  • Support with internal audit risk assessment processes

  • Company Secretarial support including Companies House filings

  • Board and Board Committee support including where appropriate attendance at Board and Committee meeting days

  • Support the delivery of the Gas Executive Risk Committee and Risk Forums

    You have strong relevant administrative and team support experience, from a corporate professional services or legal environment (relevant work experience in a legal, audit, company secretary or risk environment would be well regarded). Your excellent organizational and communication skills enable you to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, and you are highly proficient with the Microsoft Office suite.


  • In person, you have strong attention to detail, and enjoy working independently, yet collaboratively. You're proactive, self-motivated and flexible, with the confidence to engage with and build strong relationships with team members and other colleagues and executives across the business.

  • Salary £35,000 - £37,500 dependant on experience
