General Practitioner

We are looking for a Salaried GP at our innovative GP practice now run by the GP federation, where we champion the doctor patient relationship & continuity of care at practice level, underpinned by the expertise of the federation & at scale services. • 15 min booked F2F appointments


• No more than 16 booked patient contacts per session


• Reducing clinical admin (referrals, results, letters) due to our centralised functions


• Support from other practices in the group when required, Provide best in class patient care to our patients


• Drive quality with colleagues to improve the health of all registered patients


• Work with and support members of the MDT team to provide excellent joint patient care


• Help us to foster a collaborative, ambitious and innovative culture so we can build the best primary care service in the UK; a service which exceeds the expectations for patients and clinicians

We appreciate that our whole primary care system is struggling, which is causing a negative effect on patient care and staff happiness. We believe that we can turn this around by reimagining how primary care is delivered from the ground up by placing a focus on data insights, technology and clinical innovation. Ultimately, we want to improve patient access, patient experience and health outcomes to significantly increase the quality of care for our patients.

The Much Birch GMS contract was novated to the Federation in February 2024, but the practice team remains unchanged as does the identity of the surgery in the local community. Much Birch is :-


• A busy rural dispensing practice at the heart of the community.


• Located in the village of Much Birch, between Ross-on-Wye and Hereford city.


• Covering an area reaching from the edges of Hereford to Ross on Wye, and extending into the villages of the Golden Valley.


• List size of circa 5,000+ patients



• A supportive clinical team of GPs, ANPs, Paramedics, Practice Nurses, HCAs, Physiotherapist, Social Prescriber & Remote Pharmacists
