Full Job Description

Are you passionate about ensuring the seamless flow of pharmaceutical products from production to delivery? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client as Head of Supply Chain.,

  • Managing End-to-End Purchase Orderso Oversee and direct the entire purchase order processing cycle for pharmaceutical products.o Ensure precision and timeliness in purchase order processing.

  • Tracking Purchase Orders and Resolving Issueso Monitor and follow up on purchase orders to guarantee timely delivery.o Address and resolve any issues that may arise from Group Headquarters or contract manufacturers.

  • Weekly Inventory Forecast Updates & Meetingso Conduct weekly updates on inventory forecasts and actively participate in meetings.o Engage in discussions regarding inventory levels and projections to facilitate effective inventory management.

  • Batch Reconciliation for Recalls and Quarantine Processeso Perform batch reconciliation for recalls and quarantine processes.o Uphold product quality and compliance with regulations.

  • Forecasting Goods Inward and Collaborating with Stakeholderso Forecast and prioritize goods inward while collaborating with stakeholders in India to efficiently meet stock requirements.o Manage communication and coordination with stakeholders to ensure smooth stock prioritization.

  • Managing Controlled Drugs Licensing and Reportingo Oversee controlled drugs licensing and maintain record-keeping/reporting.o Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements regarding controlled substances.

  • Ensuring Accurate Booking and Master Data Maintenanceo Guarantee accurate booking of goods inward and update SAP with the correct information.o Maintain master data for products in SAP and third-party warehouse software to facilitate efficient inventory management.


  • Accountabilities:
  • Liaising with Third-Party Warehouses and Coordinating Logisticso Establish communication with third-party warehouses for slot bookings.o Coordinate with clearing/forwarding agents to ensure smooth logistics operations.

  • Efficiently Controlling Inventory and Reconciliationo Effectively manage inventory and conduct regular reconciliations.o Generate reports on order tracking and monitor expiring stocks.

  • Undertaking Ad Hoc Inventory Control Activitieso Address ad hoc activities related to inventory control as needed.o Ensure efficient inventory management in various scenarios.

  • Financial Management and Complianceo Ensure timely receipt of duty/VAT invoices.o Collaborate with the Accounts team for payment processing and postpone VAT reconciliation (PVA).

  • Audit Assistance and Regulatory Complianceo Assist in audits related to inventory and stock. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

    Demonstrated experience in pharmaceutical supply chain management and import processes.- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and inventory management.- Capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines in high-pressure environments.
