Lecturer/Teacher - Maths

Salary: £28,931 - £37,347 per annum, plus excellent benefits

Contract Type: Permanent/Fixed Term, Fractional, Full Time, 18.5 - 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

We currently have 2x permanent 1.0 FTE positions available

We currently have 1x 1.0 FTE fixed term until 31st March 2025 position available.

Location: Paignton, Devon

Are you an inspirational individual who has a passion for delivering maths to support our students' progress and achievement? We are recruiting for a Lecturer/Teacher in maths to teach GCSE & Functional Skills English to students studying on a range of different vocational programmes. You will bring learning to life as you help raise achievement in Maths promoting the enhancing of numeracy for all learners

The successful candidate will hold a degree or vocational qualification, be able to teach GCSE and Functional Skills and have recent experience of teaching Maths.

We aim to provide our learners with excellent teaching and learning using evidence informed practices. Our college's 'Ways of Working' support the use of relational and restorative approaches to build positive relationships between staff and our students. We are an inclusive college; our staff have consistently high expectations for all students to aspire to reach their full potential, academically and within their personal development.
