Full Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen at North Herts Council for an entry-level position within the Leisure and Active Communities team. Duties will include:

  • Supporting the team to develop initiatives that will enable more of our residents to participate in physical activity and sport.

  • Helping us to map existing opportunities for physical activity and identify where there are gaps.

  • Assisting us to find out from our local communities what opportunities for physical activity and sport they would like to see in North Herts.

  • Working with us to promote local opportunities for physical activity and sport through website development, social media channels, channels and other advertising opportunities.

  • Supporting the delivery of physical activity projects and events around North Herts.

  • Assist the team to monitor our leisure contracts.

  • As part of your employment, you will study for and complete a Level 3 Community Sport and Health Officer apprenticeship.
