Full Job Description

The FS Marketing Lead will work with multiple stakeholders to deliver financial services content and campaigns across all marketing channels.

The role has no direct reports and reports into the Senior FS Product & Marketing Manager - you'll be working within a brand Tribe, helping develop and manage the credit marketing approach tailored to the N Brown portfolio including Simply Be, JD Williams and Jacamo.

Your role as FS Marketing Lead:

  • Work with the FS Product & Marketing Manager to develop insight, research and data-rooted briefs for internal business SMEs and Creative Teams that help deliver our propositions in a compelling way relevant to each brand

  • Brief activity to internal creative teams and be responsible for developing campaign plans, shaping FS messaging, working closely with the wider FS and Digital Technology Teams to ensure coordinated delivery of activity in-line with our quarterly plans.

  • Engage retail brand, marketing, and trading to ensure the effective inclusion of relevant FS messaging/benefits across all appropriate retail campaigns. Align FS messaging by brand, tailoring messages by audience.

  • Produce and contribute to documents for the wider retail and FS business that communicate work in progress and follow-up results.

  • Work with Ecommerce, CRM and Digital Technology Teams including Product Leads, UX and CRO to ensure we effectively convert traffic across the various customer journeys. Report on performance through the funnel.

  • Work within Trube to support in the creation and development of content for credit acquisition activity in BTL and ATL media campaigns, testing and learning wherever possible and reporting on efficacy. Includes planning campaigns for our current propositions, and new/emerging FS initiatives as we develop customer propositions.

  • Work closely with first and second line to ensure all marketing is in-line with regulations, regular reviews are undertaken, and Audit and Governance requirements are met. Support colleagues in retail marketing to improve upstream briefing and better integration of FS in comms.

  • Review and monitor the market, keeping up to date with competitor activity

  • You'll help ensure opportunities to promote credit marketing are taken through all channels to market, helping to achieve annual credit customer acquisition, retention, and utilisation targets.

  • You'll be the help ensure activity meets financial promotion requirements, pre and post go live.

    At least 2-3 year's experience working in a fast-paced marketing role

  • Good grasp of financial services products and general interest in marketing and communications

  • Familiarity with Ecommerce, CRM, performance media, and campaign analysis/reporting is desirable

  • An enthusiastic, self-starting, proactive and innovative approach.

  • Collaborative with strong communication skills and comfortable presenting campaign performance and recommendations to wider stakeholders.

  • Organised and able to manage multiple projects, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Creative-thinking, able to generate opportunities/ideas and communicate them.

  • Degree level education within Marketing/Media/Communications/Business is beneficial.

  • A background of Marketing within retail, ecommerce, a technical or regulated industry, or Financial Services experience is beneficial but not essential.
