Full Job Description
- Play a pivotal role in building the UK's clean energy future.
- Work within the MEH Alliance, collaborating effectively to deliver complex piping and cabling systems.
- Work from mechanical engineering drawings, general arrangement drawings, and method statements to achieve the objectives.
- Work with assembly and installation drawings.
- Perform hand and machine shaping of materials and components.
- Assemble and install mechanical plant and equipment.
- Test mechanical equipment and pipework, employing fault-finding techniques and adjusting mechanical plant as needed.
Proven experience in the installation, assembly and precision lining and levelling of mechanical plant and equipment. - Knowledge and understanding of mechanical jointing techniques.
- Proven track record in nuclear power preferred.
- Experience working on major construction projects.
- NVQ 3 / Ace Card in Mechanical Fitting / Others considered.
