Microbiologist

As a Microbiologist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our non-sterile products and manufacturing environments. You will be responsible for maintaining our cleanroom facilities and utilities, to meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. In this role you will routinely monitor cleanrooms, facilities and utilities and report on data (e.g., environmental monitoring, compressed air testing, purified water sampling / analysis, and particle monitoring)

As a Microbiologist your duties will include:

• Cleanroom facility qualification, classification, and routine monitoring.


• Monitoring of site purified water generation and distribution systems.


• Support activities, such as, microbial media preparation and identification.


• Assist Senior/Specialist Microbiologists with improvement activities.


• Support members of the team with internal projects.
  
  Computer-literate to use LIMS and Microsoft Excel.


• Competence and clarity in both written and oral English communication.


• A science degree / HND/ NVQ 4 or equivalent experience.


• An understanding of compliance management in regulated areas.

Bespak are looking for a Microbiologist for the Holmes Chapel site, CW4 8BE. The salary range for this role is between £25k and £30k plus a discretionary annual bonus. Other benefits you will receive are 25 days leave plus bank holidays, a generous 10% pension contribution, onsite free parking, and medical / dental / health / life insurance.
