Full Job Description

You will lead the development and coordination of a multi-professional seamless service improvement, in partnership with operational managers, other clinicians and people with lived experience.
There will be a focus on integrating service provision with H&J partners, primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare services, voluntary sector and social care services.
You will be expected to negotiate complex service development within MPFT and across the wider systems to ensure comprehensive H&J services, enhanced skills and knowledge of the workforce, and addressing inequalities in H&J provision., The post holder will drive transformation, reform and uptake of key strategic initiatives that support excellence in H&J settings across various care systems, continually reviewing values, strategic direction, and business objectives to take into account changing circumstances.
The post holder will develop strong and effective multidisciplinary interdepartmental and cross boundary relationships and communication pathways.
The post holder will be a clinical expert in and expected to engage with system wide priorities, research, working with external partners on improving pathways and H&J strategies across the national footprint where MPFT have a presence.
The post holder will be expected to support clinically in the production of bids, and where successful, will support the mobilisation of services from a clinical perspective.
The post holder will lead complex service developments to transform the delivery of H&J services supporting the operational and clinical leaders.
The post holder, in conjunction with the CD and Head of Service, will be responsible for the development of education and training programmes in H&J Services and shape these for partners.
The post holder will assist in assessing and managing clinical risk for the safety of self, colleagues and patients in line with the risk management policies. Supporting and taking responsibility, where appropriate for ensuring the effective investigation of incidents and complaints relating to H&J services and sharing lessons learnt.
