MPM326 Personal Assistant

To support and assist me in my day-to-day life, to enable me to live independently in my home., · Assistance with transfers between bed and chair using a hoist

· Assistance with personal care which will involve washing, dressing and showering

· Domestic Duties - Laundry, washing, ironing etc.

· Assistance with the running of the home, paying bills and answering correspondence

· Assistance with preparing meals

I am a gentleman in my late fifties who lives in Llanharry. I am tetraplegic and live at home on my own. I use an electric wheelchair for getting around. I also have a visual impairment. I have good communication skills. I enjoy music, films and general knowledge quizzes and I am a keen amateur radio enthusiast., · Friendly and good company

· Good sense of humour

· Able to work on own initiative

· Respectful of other people's homes and property

· Holds a full driving licence

· Able to work with a team of PAs

· Manual Handling training an advantage

10 hours per week minimum, includes weekday, evening and weekend work. Block shifts, no short in/out calls.

Additional hours are available to cover annual leave and sickness

Flexibility is important for this role.

RATE OF PAY

£11.44 per hour Weekdays

£12.00 per hour Weekends
