Proud to put people first. Thursfields provides high-quality and reliable legal advice to businesses and individuals nationwide. We are seeking a New business executive to be responsible for and maintain the new enquiry function at the firm.,

  • Ensuring potential clients contacting the firm receive a 'best in class' service

  • Efficiently identifying and understanding clients' needs, to be able to transfer them over to the legal teams.

  • Operating as an effective front-of-house for the firm.

  • Taking and handling new enquiries by telephone, website and email.

  • Liaising with legal teams in the allocation of new clients.

  • Following-up new opportunities with a view to converting those into new matters.

  • Seek to identify and record reasons for winning and losing opportunities.

  • General complimentary duties which will include; accurate recording of enquiry information into the firm's IT system.

  • Proficient in using a Customer Relationship management portal or equivalent (training will be provided).


  • DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. To respond to all new enquiries coming into the firm via phone, email or website.

    2. To follow up on new enquiries with the aim of converting those enquiries into work for the firm.

    3. To facilitate seamless handover of new enquiries to the relevant lawyer within a 24-hour period of contact being made.

    4. To make appointments, arrange meetings and maintain an up-to-date diary.

    5. To ensure the confidentiality and security of all practice and client documentation and/or information.

    6. To undertake any specific training courses as identified by your supervisor.

    7. To create and maintain professional relationships with clients and colleagues.

    8. To familiarise yourself with the firm's areas of practise to be able to effectively triage and allocate new work not for the purposes of giving legal advice.

  • We are looking for someone with first class communication skills, someone who inspires confidence and rapport, who is professional.

  • A track record of converting new client enquiries into billable work.

  • Good computer skills.

  • A proactive and fast-paced approach.

  • No prior office experience is required for this role, but it would be an advantage.
