Full Job Description

The Night Concierge role is responsible for support, safety and security of all residents between 8.00pm and 8.00am on a shift pattern. This role is an opportunity to build on the work undertaken by support workers during the day time hours. The role will also involve making sure those in our duty of care are safe and secure throughout the night.

We are inviting applications for the role of Night Concierge, to be part of our Gloucester Housing Team, based at Potter's Place, Russell Street, Gloucester.

If you can work with tact and diplomacy, apply judgement and common sense, and react sensitively and with emotional intelligence when dealing with the complex or sensitive circumstances of vulnerable people, then this is the perfect role for you.

Ideally, you will have had previous experience of paid or volunteer work in a similar role and have a Level 3 in a relevant qualification (or a desire to work with us to achieve this).,

  • Night Concierge: 1 year (preferred)

  • Supported Housing: 1 year (preferred)

    The role is 40 hours a week, working on a rota basis, with weekend work. The shifts are 8.00pm to 8.00am, on a rota where you work 4 days on and 4 days off.

    The salary is up to £26,767 per annum, depending on relevant skills, experience and qualifications., The organisation recognise that employees need down time, or time off, so time will be given off after working shifts to ensure that you can achieve a great work-life balance.

    We provide a generous contributory pension and great holiday entitlement, increasing after two years length of service up to a maximum of a further 5 days annual leave.
