OPD Cardiology Nurse

Outpatient Cardiology Nurse | Band 6 equivalent, depending on experience | Full Time or Part time, Monday - Friday + 1 Saturday per month | No Nights | Tollerton, South Nottinghamshire | Award winning CPD, As an outpatient Cardiology Nurse you will ensure our patients receive the highest levels of care. Every day is different in this role and you will work across various areas of the hospital including cardiology pre-assessment and cardiac outpatients.

• Complete the outpatients monitors and diagnostic tests


• Pre-operatively assess and manage our patients as a small group working closely with the consultants


• Aligning with consultant clinics


• Fitting ECG's and completing and interpreting the tests


• Stress tests


• Support cardiology patients across the hospital, acting as a subject matter expert to other staff.


• Provide and aspire to a regional centre of excellence approach to the service.
  
  Spire Nottingham Hospital has an opportunity for an experienced Cardiology Nurse to join our award winning specialist cardiology team within the outpatient department. We are in the process of growing our Cardiac service to include more vascular and structural procedures, as well as also increasing our cardiac surgery, with the aim to become the leading cardiology department in the East Midlands.


We have 1 hybrid theatre with cardiology lists running Mon-Sat and offer procedures including PFO, ASD, Pacemaker, Angioplasty, EPS and Ablation, DCCV and TOE with plans to launch TAVI in Summer 2024.
