Ophthalmology Booking Manager | East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust

We are recruiting for an Ophthalmology Booking manager who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

You will be part of the operational team and will be managing the Waiting List team and Ophthalmology Medical Secretaries.

You will support the Service Co-ordinator, Service Manager and General Manager in the management of all aspects of the services and performance management.

You will organise the theatre utilisation and attend relevant meetings.

Be directly responsible for the management, performance and co-ordination of waiting list staff and medical secretaries.

Work unsupervised and act independently to manage own workload, referring to the service co-coordinator when necessary.

To innovate more effective systems to benefit the department and the Trust.

To deputise for the service co-coordinator as required.

Lead for Referral to Treatment (RTT) performance for both admitted and non-admitted and highlight any patients who will be over 52 weeks to the Service Co-ordinator.
