We are looking for an Architectural Assistant with experience in practice post Part II and a passion for design together with outstanding communication skills to join our team to work on projects from conception through to completion . Remuneration for this role will be in line with experience, but you will need a proven track record of working with UK planning and building regulations and as this is an office based role your own transport will be required due to our rural location. In return you will enjoy working on an exciting range of projects with great career progression prospects in a friendly, sociable office environment, free parking plus other benefits .

Preferred applicants should:

· Be able to demonstrate experience in meeting planning policy, residential and commercial design , ensuring quality standards are maintained and UK Building Regulations.

· Have experience in construction detailing and production of detailed drawings and technical information from stage 4 through to completion

· Strong technical design skills and a sound knowledge of statutory regulations

· Proficient in Autocad. Experience in Revit would be advantageous.

· Have sound communication, interpersonal and organisational skills

· Positive and confident approach

· The ability to liaise effectively and confidently both internally and externally

This is a full time position, salary dependent on experience. Please note, due to the location of the practice, own transport is essential.
