Join our dynamic team as a Payroll Administrator at Refresco, where your expertise in payroll administration will ensure accurate and timely processing in line with statutory regulations. You will be a part of a team of 4 and will be responsible for supporting the payroll needs for six sites, and 1,700 colleagues across the UK. Working from our Head Office, you'll have the chance to advance your career while making a meaningful impact every day., The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the production of accurate and timely in-house payroll administration in accordance with statutory regulations, including deductions and payments to 3rd parties, ensuring accurate data entry/statistical reporting in a timely manner and in accordance with the needs of Refresco. This will be achieved via demonstrating the company values and behaviours in all communications with all internal and external customers and colleagues. The Payroll Administrator will also be required to co-ordinate the activities required to meet company quality standards, focusing on continuous improvement.,

  • Process payroll/s punctually and accurately, ensuring timely statutory deductions and payments.

  • Check payroll/s and ad-hoc work thoroughly before submission, maintaining compliance with regulations.

  • Maintain an organised system for tasks, ensuring team coverage and detailed handovers during absences.

  • Communicate effectively with internal customers, external auditors, and bodies like Pension Advisors, CSA, and local councils.

  • Understand and operate the Time & Attendance system and complete month-end and year-end tasks within deadlines.

  • Provide support and coverage for other key tasks and roles, including ad-hoc project assistance and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.

    Ideally, we're seeking candidates with previous experience and knowledge of the end-to-end process of Payroll. Any experience with ADP or People XD would be beneficial but is not essential.
