Full Job Description

As a Placement Officer, you will play a vital role in facilitating work experience and employment for our learners, helping them transition successfully into the world of work or further education. You will work closely with both learners and employers to identify suitable work experience and employment opportunities, ensuring that each learner receives valuable hands-on experience relevant to their chosen field of study or career aspirations.
This role will be covering the three apprenticeship areas and you will be based between our vocational training centres, you will be required to have a good knowledge of all the areas of delivery that Hull Training and Adult Education offer.
The postholder will assist with the promotion of work experience and employment opportunities to learners, participate in recruitment events, and contribute to marketing efforts aimed at attracting new employers to partner with the organisation.
The purpose of this role is to promote the service Hull Training and Adult Education offers to employers and potential Learners, raising the awareness and understanding of the benefits of Apprenticeships and associated training opportunities (including Skills Bootcamps and Adult Education) from Entry Level to level 5.
We are looking for an individual who can make a significant contribution to the development of the service and meet departmental targets.
You must be vocationally competent and qualified to at least NVQ3 standard.
