Full Job Description

To project manage from a finance and treasury perspective the delivery of Project Stratus while working closely with different financial departments to action project deliverables.

During the duration of the contract you'll deliver:
Representing Finance as the main point of contact for the programme, taking responsibility for the plan delivery Engaging the appropriate programme team members to actively seek to resolve open items for finance and treasury. Identifying risks and taking measures to prevent delays and budgetary constraints Manage and communicate all risks, assumptions, dependencies and issues with key stakeholders. Lead day-to-day operations of the project and be collaborative Stakeholder management Working with programme team and other stakeholders to ensure documentation is audit standard as required, The successful candidate will have previous experience of doing a similar role. You will be a tenatious self-starter who will lead the project specifcally from the stand point of the finance and treasury teams and their deliverable items to support the wider project. You will be a confident communicator and able to liaise with both financial and non-financial employees, including at Senior Management level to support escalation requirements. Be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships with a wide group within the business, building a level of mutual trust & respect. Be able to communicate and conduct self with the highest levels of integrity, providing and accepting feedback as a way of improving performance.

Demonstrable project/change experience within a regulated financial services organisation. Understanding of finance processes, risks and controls for mid-size and listed organisations (credit cards preferred). Experience and working knowledge of internal control standards and regulatory requirements across financial operations, financial statement close processes and finance IT functions. IT literacy in financial systems, Excel and PowerPoint Good knowledge of test planning & associated documentation. Governance, Problem solving, Organsational skills. Prioritisation skills for self & team. Facilitation, negotiation, managing difficult conversations. Dependency mapping & management, links into planning. Project reporting/packs.
